How we got here…

I have always had a love affair with music.

Even when I got scolded for touching my fathers record player, I have always loved listening to music. Being able to hear my mother and her sisters sitting around my grandmother’s piano harmonizing, I knew back then that music was the only thing that put me at ease. It was the only thing that really got me when nothing else could.

I loved music so much I wanted to be part of it.

As I first attempted to be a musician, I learned about how to make the sounds that I loved so much. Learning about how rhythm, melody, and harmony works, how to put them together and when to separate them, I learned as many rules as I could so I could figure out the best time to break them. But, my curiosity was always drawn to the technical side.

Then one day in my bands rehearsal space my drummer said, “Hey, we need to record a demo. I got this Pro Tools rig that I don’t know how to use. Any of you guys wanna learn how to use it?”

After that… The rest is history.
